- Collectable companions
- Treasure
- Giant bosses
- Hidden areas
- Travelers with missions or stories to share
- And more!
Combat/Interaction
- Interact and battle with a system that combines classic arcade action with number-based cues.
- Teammates tell you how many enemies lurk nearby (similar to Minesweeper)
- Injured teammates see fewer spaces, but they'll gradually recover.
- Correctly target a hidden enemy with a firework to captivate them and start a combo! (They won't attack while admiring your math skills).
- Solve the bonus equation for points; a high score convinces characters to join.
- Dodge attacks and choose how to respond; there are many types of fireworks with various range, ammo and effects!
- Don't damage treasure or buildings with reckless fireworks or abilities.
Collect & Train Companions! Each has:
- Mastery of specific firework types.
- A signature skill... which they can teach other teammates with practice!
- Elemental advantages and weaknesses
- Resistance to hazards, e.g. slippery ice, messy glitter (more dangerous than spikes, parents know).
- Contribution of different amounts and strengths of detectors to the team.
- A random bonus attribute. Some may give slightly more time to combos, another might give a boost to elemental advantage. Keep recruiting and assemble your ideal team!
