  • Is it really free?

    • ItsGiraffes is free for non-commercial use, and supported through public donations. It is important that the software and services remain available without paywall barriers, to ensure access where most needed. To support ItsGiraffes learning initiatives, please contact learn@itsgiraffes.com

  • Does the software contain advertising or "microtransactions" to elicit spending?

    • No. The software is ad-free, and does not contain any means or incentives to spend money or purchase products. No AI, NFT, or Blockchain technologies or content is present in the software.

  • How is appropriate content decided?

    • A comprehensive elementary mathematics curriculum will be developed from countries currently ranked highest in maths education for ages 7-10, as well as any outlying additional topics commonly covered. Extra challenge content (base number systems, etc.) will also be discoverable for advanced users.

  • How does it work, and what results can I or my student expect?

    • Unlike traditional quiz-focused software, ItsGiraffes seeks to promote positive associations with math and learning. The software does introduce direct concepts, vocabulary, and learning methodology in mathematics, with comprehensive coverage of topics for most school systems ages 7-10. However, the true value in the experience will likely come from positive associations and experiences developed over several weeks or otherwise repeated exposure to the provided content.

  • Is the software being actively updated and maintained?

    • Yes, content is regularly reviewed, revised, and added to, in response to feedback from students and educators. Where possible, content is added to with new characters, experiences, and puzzles, rather than replaced, to ensure favorite interactions and lessons are preserved.

  • Is there a single version of the software, or multiple applications?

    • ItsGiraffes is currently focused on further development and distribution of its initial software offering, also titled "ItsGiraffes". Only one version of the software is maintained, but this may be available in different installation packages, due to regional translations and the desire to make distribution and installation as fast and easy a possible. Further software offerings are planned, but will not be available in the immediate future, and/or may be incorporated into the current ItsGiraffes software.

  • What platforms is ItsGiraffes software available on?

    • Windows (PC), Android, and iOS
    Further platforms may be included in the future.
